The signup for Copenhagen Games 2012 is now open!
GAMES
We are happy to announce the main games for Copenhagen Games 2012:
- Counter Strike 1.6
- Counter Strike Source
- StarCraft II
Other games and competetions are beeing negotiated and will be announced on a ongoing basis.
PRIZEMONEY
The prizes will be announced together with the partners, very soon.
The total prize purse for al games will be about the same level as Copenhagen Games 2011.
As we always have done, most of the prizemoney will be payed out cash at the event.
The few big prizes will be transferred by bank, and we will try to do the bank transfer while we are at the event.
The goal is to handle all prizes, cash as merchandise, before we leave the venue.
Exactly as in 2011.
LIMITED SEATS
Last year we were able to open for close to 1.000 player seats.
Even though the interest for Copenhagen Games is growing, we will not be able to create more seats when the event is fully booked.
The venue and all other content do not allow that.
So please do secure your seat with a quick signup and payment.
Please note that your seat will not be secured/reserved until we receive your payment.
In case of double bookings the payment time will determine who will get the seat.
WHERE TO SLEEP
As this is in the middle of Copenhagen there are more than enough hotels, not more than 5 min. of walk from the venue.
However, we are negotiating with several hotels, to get a special deal for CG2012 participants. We will update the information as soon as the deals are finalized.
Besides hotel, we do have a separate venue for participants to sleep in, with their own sleeping equipment - for free.
Enough space for everyone, good toilet / bath facilities and good heat is what you got here in 2011 - and is what you will get in 2012
PLAYER LIST
As always we have a public participant list.
You and your team will only be visible on this list when all of your members are signed up.
Please look under "Esport" at the topmenu.
BYOC / COMPUTER FOR RENT
Copenhagen Games is basically a BYOC, because we think that people should have a seat with a computer where they can play, hang out, surf and do whatever they want to, when not playing the tournaments. Also warm up gets easier and equal for everyone.
However we do understand that a lot of foreign teams are not able to transport computers and monitors.
More and more foreign teams are looking towards Copenhagen Games, and we are as in 2011 trying to get enough computers for everybody
Information about hardware configuration and rental price will be announced in the coming weeks.

VISA
For all foreign players, who need invitation for visa purpose, please write every detail through our Contact/Support section, and we will handle it accordingly.
We need your full name, adress, date of birth and passport no.
Copenhagen Games is financially supported by the City of Copenhagen, and is marketing wise supported by Wonderful Copenhagen (the official organization for tourism)
